Wish I had something Halloweeny to do, but like always, me and my boyfriend failed to plan ahead. All I know is I'm making halloween brownies, and giving birthday gifts to my boyfriend. Maybe we'll play halloween rock band together, and by that I mean I put on a costume and play rock band. I have some pumpkins we carved up, but I don't know where the candles are. I toasted the seeds, and no one but me likes eating them.
Still no where on a job, and I really need one now. I turned down my old job because I'm trying to get a job in MN so I can finally live with my boyfriend of four years. So unemployment is have a trial/meeting thing where I'm probably loosing unemployment. So fun...
I'm participating in an art sale in November. It's only a chance to make very little money. I didn't make many paintings this year, and those I could sell for more money. I just have some holiday cards I hand made, and some old digital prints. I haven't felt like painting traditionally lately. It's cheaper and easier to just do it all digitally.
Though don't have much art to post lately because for the past couple months was working in an apple orchard for some money. I've eaten everything there is to be made out of an apple. I can also tell you the taste and texture difference of a variety of apples. I can't wait till next year when there'll be zestar again, those are a really good apple. And for those of you who have heard of the new snow sweet apple, it isn't something special. It tastes just like a honey crisp. It was a big thing in MN here, people were stalking stores and buying them out of snow sweets. I can't believe what people are willing to pay for an apple from a store. They're all bruised and waxy. I guess I'm just spoiled with apples fresh from the trees.
